Let’s make a mobile bee

Activity for 4 years old children and up with some adult assistance.

Material needed:

Prepare a little plastic bottle and a paper cone that will be the stinger of the bee.

Fill the paper cone and attach it with some sticky tape to the neck of the bottle.

Put a head at the bottom of the bottle. For instance, a piece of an egg carton.

Also the eyes. For instance with two little bottle caps. Attach them with little pieces of sticky tape.

Cut a plastic bottle shaping two wings and attach them with sticky tape.

Put two antennae made with two pieces of drinking straw and a little paper ball.

Cover all the bee with little pieces of sticky tape, make sure there's no hole left!

Last step: painting. Beginning with one layer, all yellow.

Then, finally we decorate it with some details: the eyes, the black lines... And here it is!
